Careers in Gear 2025 Employer and School Applications Open

Rogue Workforce Partnership is excited to welcome your students to Careers in Gear 2025!

April 24, 9 am – 2 pm

The event is open to all high school students grade 9 through 12. Please bring youth who are exploring careers as well as those moving into the workforce after graduation or looking for a summer job. The format is an open floor expo with 150+ employers representing some of the most exciting employment opportunities in Southern Oregon. Industries represented will include Healthcare, IT/Tech, Social Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Transportation, Government, and Military. Training providers and post-secondary education providers will also be in attendance.

Southern Oregon Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Winter/Spring Course Enrollment Open

Are you interested in a career in the trades? If so, a Pre-Apprenticeship program may be the right next step for you! The next Southern Oregon Builds Pre-Apprenticeship is a 15-week Fridays only cohort that runs from January 10th through April 18th, 2025.  Deadline for applications is December 20th, 2024!  This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and earn certifications.

Southern Oregon Builds Pre-Apprenticeship Ribbon Cutting

Southern Oregon Builds Pre-Apprenticeship had their kick-off event on 11/5/2024 and has commenced their first weekend cohort!  The program has received funding from the Oregon Prosperity 10K ARPA grants and will be conducted at UA290 JATC – 950 Industrial Circle, White City OR (View location map).

Prosperity 10,000 (P10K), part of the Future Ready Oregon suite, represents a $35 million investment aimed at supporting Oregon’s nine Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) to serve communities most impacted by COVID-19.
