Rogue Workforce Partnership is mobilizing support for workers affected by an upcoming workforce reduction at Asante. Approximately 250 employees are expected to be impacted over the coming months, with the first round of layoffs occurring this week.
Rogue Workforce Partnership is responding by hosting two Rapid Response sessions where affected workers can connect face-to-face with resource providers and receive personalized guidance. A job fair is also planned to help workers connect with prospective employers in the region.
RAPID RESPONSE SESSIONS
Both sessions will be held at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, 101 South Bartlett St, Medford, OR 97501. Presentations and resources will be provided by representatives from Unemployment Insurance, Oregon Healthcare Marketplace, Oregon Department of Human Services, Rogue Community College, and WorkSource Rogue Valley.
- Thursday, May 29, 2026 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Monday, June 2, 2026 | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
JOB FAIR – JUNE 18, 2026
On Wednesday, June 18, 2026, Rogue Workforce Partnership will host a job fair at the Padgham Pavilion at the Jackson County Expo. This event will provide affected Asante workers with the opportunity to connect directly with prospective employers and explore new career opportunities in the region.
