Rogue Workforce Partnership announces Disaster Recovery Employment Grants. These grants give employers access to a crew of temporary workers with clean-up, recovery, and humanitarian efforts related to the recent fire disaster in our region or the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. The Oregon Office of Economic Analysis recently shared an online presentation of economic and revenue forecasts for the state. The presentation addresses the impact of COVID-19, Federal policy decisions and state decisions on managing the pandemic. Click HERE to view the slide presentation.
The Rogue Workforce Partnership Board met on September 30th and included elections, budget approval, Wildfire updates, addition of the Wildland Firefighting/Forestry sector, Strategic Roadmap, Essential/Personal Effectiveness Skills, Reimaging Higher Education and honoring Ron Fox.

He explains the complexity of this virus including: how the virus spreads, who gets sick, and what we can do about it. Dr Shames also looks at the Socio-Economic and Racial disparities that exist within COVID-19. Additionally Sensitivity, Specificity, and Mitigation Strategies are defined.
