Layoff Aversion Grant for  Restaurants

The Rogue Workforce Partnership will have a limited amount of funding that can help support and sustain local restaurants during this challenging time.  Grant applicants need to:

  • Have at least 3 employees
  • Be solely located in either Jackson or Josephine county
  • And are not part of a regional or national chain

COVID-19 – What We Know

Dr. Shames, Jackson County’s Medical Director/Health Officer, shares what is currently known about COVID-19 (as of September, 2020). He explains the complexity of this virus including: how the virus spreads, who gets sick, and what we can do about it. Dr Shames also looks at the Socio-Economic and Racial disparities that exist within COVID-19. Additionally Sensitivity, Specificity, and Mitigation Strategies are defined.
