PURPOSE

This program is aimed at helping employers in Jackson and Josephine County train their employees to promote retention and advancement in the following targeted sectors:

  • Manufacturing
  • Construction
  • Information Technology
  • Natural Resources
  • Transportation
  • Healthcare

FUNDING

Rogue Workforce Partnership may reimburse qualified applicants for up to $3,000 per employee for wages paid during training periods and/or training costs incurred for current employees.

*Reimbursement percentages vary depending on employer size and training type

TARGETED SUPPORT

Priority is given to employers in rural or underserved communities.

Training support will focus on upskilling current employees for their current position or an advanced role. Special attention will be given to employers that agree to partner with Worksource Rogue Valley to fill the positions that have been vacated due to advancement, contributing to the creation of new jobs.

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

Train your team with programs tailored to enhance their skills within the company. Get financial aid to offset wages during training, supporting their growth while lessening the financial load.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT DETAILS

Reimbursement percentages vary depending on employer size and training type. If selected, Rogue Workforce Partnership will reimburse the following for trainings under the Incumbent Worker Training program:

  • 90% of the training cost for employers with fewer than 50 employees
  • 75% of the training cost for employers with between 50 and 100 employees
  • 50% of the training cost for employers with more than 100 employees

For On-the-Job Training, Rogue Workforce Partnership will reimburse the following:

  • Wage reimbursements of up to $3,000 per employee for the duration of the training period
