Rogue Workforce is seeking public comment on the latest draft of their Local Plan. The Local Plan is a working document that outline’s Rogue Workforce Partnership’s vision to create and support a strong regional economy and prosperous community fueled by a skilled workforce, opportunity, quality careers, and thriving business. The public is encouraged to review the draft Plan and submit their feedback here.
Rogue Workforce Partnership is the local workforce investment board serving Jackson and Josephine County. One of 9 workforce investment boards in Oregon, Rogue Workforce Partnership allocates funding, oversees programs, and brings together representatives from education, industry sectors, and service providers to improve the workforce system for job-seekers and employers alike. Our mission is to create a demand-driven system that aligns the skills of workers to the needs of employers while improving career pathway accessibility.
The 30-day public comment period will last from March 13 until April 13, at which time all feedback will be compiled and used to modify the final draft of the Local Plan. Members of the public are invited to visit RogueWorkforce.org/local-plan-draft to view the Local Plan draft and submit their feedback.
